What does home mean to you?
Is it a place? A feeling? A memory?
Can you build a home without walls; and what happens when you have to leave it behind?

In the new collaborative performance project of LENS theatermakers, we are exploring the meaning of home. Together, we’ll create movement, text, sound and image, and the build an installation while exploring our relation to home.

The process is open and experimental. We will work on location, which will not just host our performance but become a partner in it. A place we will shape and respond to. Perhaps we’ll create a performance, perhaps an installation, or something entirely in between. The work will grow from the people who make it.

We’re looking for international performers, makers, and musicians who are curious, collaborative, and feel connected to the subject of home. You don’t need professional experience, just bring your imagination, and dive into the process with play.
